Basic Laboratory Information

We offer complete professional laboratory services and will perform testing based upon a signed request from a physician that indicates tests ordered, pertinent diagnosis and medical necessity.  Appointments are necessary for GTT and sweat chlorides and can be scheduled by calling the laboratory. 

Dedicated, Professional Staff

The laboratory is under the direction of Yoshinori Tokunaga, M.D., a highly trained Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist.  Dr. Tokunaga is certified by the American Board of Pathology.  He is a Fellow with the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

All laboratory locations are staffed by trained medical technologists and technicians following CLIA personnel standards.  Our Laboratory Department is accredited by the Joint Commission on Healthcare Organizations.
